It's hard to know exactly where to start with the posts to recap the last month and to head into the new year with, but I thought I'd take you through our Christmas celebrations. We had many and had a wonderful holiday with our family.
To start, the three of us celebrated Christmas here in Nashville. The night before we did our traditional readings of The Night Before Christmas and the birth of Jesus and of course put out some milk and cookies for Santa. Lofton's elf, Dougie, had been appearing all month so this was the moment of truth (though Lofton was never told about Dougie reporting to Santa!). We had a nice "Christmas Eve" at home and we could hardly sleep with all the excitement and anticipation.
