Christmas 2012

This truly was a magical Christmas for Lofton and therefore for us.  He loved every piece of it.  He JUST (2 months later) quit singing carols every day and asking why we took our outside lights down.  He was in awe of it all--the decorations, the lights, the music, the gifts, the elf, Santa and definitely all the family surrounding him.

Lofton had several Christmas celebrations.  One at our house, one with Uncle Brandon & GrandDaddy, one with Nana, Pop & the gang and one with G.G. back at home.  Why I ever questioned how it was hard for him to understand that Christmas isn't every day is beyond me...it was every day for about 10 days straight!!

Thanks to everyone that celebrated with us and made it such a special holiday for Lofton.

Our trip to Paducah to celebrate with the Fish Family was equally as awesome as our trip to E-town! Lofton welcomed the chance to get all of the attention back on only him and seemed thrilled to have all the toys to himself again! He got exactly what he wanted and needed...time with G.G., GrandDaddy and Uncle Brandon. Only Aunt Jamie was missing, but he at least got to see her on FaceTime (thanks iPhone!).

Lofton played, opened more presents, ate great food (thanks G.G.!), and played some more. We had a great time and are so thankful for families that love us so much. We love you too and LOVED spending Christmas with you.

Pujols x 3

We all know who Pop's favorite baseball team is...the St. Louis Cardinals. Well, he couldn't let their Championship year pass without sharing some swag with his grandkids. Lofton is a Cardinal fan (compliments of his Mom and Pop--sorry Dad) so he loved the Pujols shirt Pop and Nana got him! (Even if Pujols left our Cards...sad.) Myla and Luke may have to be swayed from their Daddy's beloved Reds, but without a doubt, they all look good in red!
