Little Bro

As we said in an earlier post, we have a Little Brother through the Big Brother, Big Sister Program. We've had a blast getting to know Jayden and form a relationship with him. This past weekend we spent an entire day with him at our house--playing the Wii, working outside, fixing & riding bikes, swimming, and doing about anything we could get in to! David played hard and we were both worn out at the end of 10 hours with a 6 year old. We can tell how much he enjoys spending time with us and that he really looks up to David especially. In the pool, we were warned he would only stay on the steps, which he did for about the first 30 minutes. Well, after David worked to gain his trust and warm him up he was out and about the pool and before we knew it, doing cannonballs right along side David! His mom was AMAZED! It's fun to see the transition.
We're still a little hesitant to put any close-up pictures of him up, but here are a couple from our day... (They hardly do him justice since one of his favorite things to do is CHEESE!)
