Happy Easter!

These videos are evidence of all that Lofton learns at his school.  He remarkably came home before his spring break and told us all about the Easter story.  We didn't even know he was ready for that deep of a story about Jesus, but of course he was. 

Right after he had told us this story, I wanted him to repeat it to my mom when we were at the KY girls state tournament basketball games.  Of course, he wasn't interested in performing with all that was going on, so I said, "Lofton, please tell Nana the Easter story."  He replied by yelling, "JESUS IS ALIVE!!!!"  Ha!

Love the sweet little innocence he brings to such a story of love and sacrifice! (subtitles below)

"This is the cross where Jesus died. 

This is the hill where Mary cried.

This is the tomb where Jesus laid.

And the stone was rolled away.

Jesus is Alive, he is alive. (repeat 3 times)

My Jesus is Alive!"

"The mean soldiers, took him away and hang him on the cross to die.

And the angel come down to take care of Jesus body and he was not in the tomb.

And some three women come and take care of his body, but Jesus, but he was not there.

He had rolled away the stone to be with God again!"
