Be Like J.J.

It's no secret that we are huge Belmont fans!  Belmont had a great year as their first season in the Ohio Valley Conference and we enjoyed attending all the home games and with the close travel, some of the away games!  The OVC tournament was in Nashville a couple of weekends ago and was thrilling and ended with an exciting overtime win over conference rival and FORMER conference powerhouse, Murray State.  Our Bruins got an automatic bid once again to the NCAA tournament and will be playing Arizona this Thursday in Salt Lake City.  This is the year they win one in the tourney so pick them on your bracket!!

Lofton has absolutely fallen in love with the Bruins this year.  He loves Bruiser, Kerron, Blake, Trevor, Coach Byrd and all things BELMONT!  The thing he absolutely loves the most is his hero J.J. Mann.  We got him a cool shirt that says MANN FAN on the back and he wears it every chance he gets!  Lofton eat, breathes and sleeps J.J.  He pretends he is him when he's shooting around (which he does often) and every night he thanks God for J.J. in his prayers.  It's super cute and as parents, we couldn't be happier about the hero he picked.  J.J. is so cool to Lofton back.
