The last time we hung out in Nashville was A LITTLE different!! (First picture from October 2009)
One of the highlights was introducing one another to our boys. They did more playing BY one another than WITH one another, but by the end of the 3 days, they definitely enjoyed interacting. It was fun to watch Lofton around another kid and he was even able to teach Greyson (2 months younger than Lofton) a few things, like how to eat with a spoon!
Also, while there, Lofton got his first experience with a "beach." Probably not how I had imagined my son's first beach trip would look, it was more of a lake beach, but sand and water nonetheless and it's nice to know he really enjoyed it! Next beach trip will include an ocean!!
The best part was spending time with the Hopkins'. We had beautiful weather and they did a great job showing us around Milwaukee and their hometown of Pewaukee, welcoming our family into their home (right before they started packing to move in less than a month!), driving two cars everywhere we went, and treating us to some of the local color. It was such a fun trip, we can't wait to "Hang with the Hopkins'" again!
