First Snow: The Prep

Lofton's first encounter with snow was sure to be an experience. We aren't quite prepared like we should be for snow and once we decided we would let Lofton get out and experience it for the first time, we scrambled to pull something together for him to wear. Northeners reading this, prepare yourself for a good laugh!!

We got about 3 inches of snow last week, the good, fluffy stuff just right to play in. We did our best to put together something weather appropriate for the 5 minutes he would spend in the snow. Ziploc bags and duct tape make great snow boots, in case you didn't know!! Also, socks work for mittens, right?! Needless to say, we didn't have a snow suit and had Gran not gotten Lofton a warm coat and hat for Christmas, he wouldn't have even had that! Oh well, it made for some great pictures!!
