Jenni's Back from the Land Down Under!

This week has been quite busy, but on Monday we got a great surprise. Jenni Benningfield, one of my dearest friends came to visit!! Jenni has been playing professional basketball overseas for the past 5 years, including this past year in Australia (4 prior years in Spain). SHE'S BACK...and this time for good! Well, for good in the U.S., but she's in Boston for the time being to start grad school at BU. We're still working on getting her back to the south!
We were both thrilled to see her and she and I didn't miss a beat catching up. Good friends are hard to come by and we are thankful for her being back safely and very thankful for her retirement from basketball being on her terms. Congrats Jenni, we're proud of you!
When she was at Vandy, the bookstore made jerseys with her number for people to buy--yeah, she's that good! Anyway, we finally got her to sign ours and got a picture to prove it's legit. We'll hang on to it for now, but look for it on ebay in a few years. We think her stock is just now going up! :)
