FINALLY...good news! We are going to close on both homes. Originally, it was looking like this could happen today, but due to an expired homeowner class from our buyer, it will probably happen in the morning. Either way, this is all about over and we are about to be in a new home!
Lessons learned...
1. Planning is a waste of time. Nothing goes according to your plan!
2. Nashville has very friendly people...including a painter that offered his home to us when we hardly know him!
3. Drew (our realtor) rocks!
4. Not every realtor rocks.
5. The former owners of our new home are patient.
6. Buying a home is never easy...flexibility is key.
7. The Russell's are hands down the most generous people we know.
8. Our bosses and employers are very understanding.
9. We have the most amazing friends!
10. We have the most amazing and supportive families!
Thanks for enduring all of this with us. Hopefully tomorrow we'll be officially new home owners!
