Part 2 of our Basketball Bucket List was completed this past weekend when our good friends, Nathan and Kelly delivered a very big gift!! They called last month to let us know they had gotten engaged (CONGRATS!) and Nathan offered David a ticket to the UNC vs. UK game at Rupp Arena! Of course, he said yest to Nathan that day too. :)
So, I wanted to go along for the trip and visit with the newly engaged couple. We headed to Lexington early Saturday morning and when we arrived at their house, they surprised us with not just a ticket for David, but one for me too!! Hey, we brought them some wedding magazines!
I've never seen a game in Rupp (and don't care if I ever do again), but have definitely always wanted to. Plus, it was only one of the most hyped up games of the year and our seats were amazing. It too lived up to the hype. Our Tar Heels lost, this time, but it was a great game and a memorable experience. As great as the game was, our visit with Nathan and Kelly was even better. We are so happy for them and look forward to celebrating with them more in 2012!
