First Day of School

Last week, Lofton started daycare, or as it will be referred to in this blog and in my conscience as "school!" He only goes 3 days a week and so far he seems to love it. More importantly, his teachers seem to love him. :) I'm not surprised, but am relieved.

It's so close to David's work that he gets to stop by during the day (totally jealous) and yesterday each teacher told him separately how they fight over their "Lofton time" because he's just so cute, smiley and happy. That made us both feel really good.

Lofton has been incredibly happy in the afternoons after school, from a good day and to see Mom & Dad give him so much attention. It certainly helps ease our minds about it. However, after just 2 days he had a runny nose and little cough and then both David and I caught it! Oh well, bring on the germs.
